Shipping and Returns
Our warehouse aims to dispatch orders by 5pm each day. Please note that our warehouse will not be open and orders will not be processed or dispatched on Public holidays in The Netherlands
Orders ship Monday – Friday only and we do not offer weekend deliveries but, in some instances, the delivery company may deliver your order on a weekend.
If your order has not arrived within 7 working days from the order date, please contact us. Failure to notify Functional Self within this period may result in you losing the ability to claim for reimbursement.
Functional Self cannot be held responsible for any loss resulting from an incomplete or incorrect shipping address on your order. Products become your responsibility from the time we deliver the product/s to the address provided on your order.
If your order arrives incomplete or damaged, you must contact Functional Self within 24 hours in order to have the missing or damaged item replaced. We will also require you to email us photos of the damaged item and packaging. If a package arrives damaged, please also note this with the driver at the time of delivery.
Separate charges for shipping and handling may be shown on our invoice(s), you are responsible for sales and all other taxes associated with the order, however designated. If applicable, a separate charge for taxes will be shown on our invoice.
Dutch Holidays and warehouse closures
Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm EST time except for the following dates:
- April 10th (Easter Monday)
- April 27th (Kingsday)
- May 18th (Ascension)
- May 29th (Whit Monday)
- December 25th (Christmas)
- December 26th (Boxing Day)
- January 1st (New Year's)
CANCELLATION, RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
Our ordering process is fully automated. Once you have completed your order online, it will not be possible to cancel or amend the order.
Products that are purchased directly from this website by an end-user may be returned by you within fourteen (14) days of the date of receipt for a full refund, less a handling and a restocking fee of 5,50 EUR for one item, and an additional 1,00 EUR per additional item returned.
Opened packages/products are not eligible for return.
We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If you need to return an item, please email our Customer Service team (the email address can be found on the Functional Self website in the Help section), quoting the order number and the for the return reason, along with the best way of contacting you. The order number is available from your order confirmation email or the ‘My Account’ section once you are logged in to the website. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please also inform us via email of the shipping service and any tracking details that you might have for the returning product.
Refunds should be received within ten (10) working days of us receiving your package with the item/s being in a re-sellable condition, depending on the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
Refunds for unclaimed or undeliverable items may be subject to a return fee determined by the carrier. Refunds will have this return fee deducted out of the refund amount.
