Oysterzinc is a pure zinc supplement made from fresh oysters — each bottle contains the goodness over up to 60 oysters.

Smidge®’s Oysterzinc is 100% oyster powder, made in small batches from only the meat of the oyster (no shells). No additives or fillers either.
Each bottle contains the goodness of over 60 oysters that are wild-caught from the pristine Atlantic ocean waters in Ireland, making for the most potent oyster extract around. Smidge®’s process involves slow, gentle convection drying under a low temperature to preserve bioactivity and nutrient integrity.
Why a natural zinc supplement from oysters?
Oysters contain the most zinc found in any food — 10 times higher than the next richest source, red meat. Taking synthetic zinc in an isolated form can upset the body's natural mineral and nutrient balance, as synthetic supplements don't include zinc's inherent nutritional cofactors. For instance, the body's important copper reserve can become depleted if zinc is taken on its own.

Always start with a smidge! Take four capsules at once, per day, or as directed by a certified healthcare practitioner. (See "low and slow" note below).

Start low and slow: Smidge®’s supplements are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it's critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a minimal dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what feels right for you.
